HOW TO TAKE NOTES
Learning how to take good notes takes a lot of practice. Here are some tips
  • Give yourself general subheadings such as GOVERNMENT, HISTORY, ECONOMY
  • Only note material that is relevant to your topic or sub topic
  • Use dot points
  • Leave space or a line between each point. This makes it easier to read, as well as allowing room to add more information.
  • Points should be no longer than a line. abbreviate.
  • Use different colours to separates sections because your brain responds to space and colour.
  • Use abbreviations that you can understand.
  • If handwriting, use pencil so that you can easily make changes if necessary.
  • Record Information in Note Form. Avoid writing sentences.

Record details about the book, or internet site in your bibliography.
